In renovation systems of pouring floor self-leveling compounds, the substrate must be properly prepared. And the substrates are, for example,. old plank floor. In the case of boards, we must first of all remove their keystrokes, sand and prime with a suitable preparation. Then, use staples to nail the 8 mesh glass fiber mesh to the boards×8 mm. Only on the substrate prepared in this way, we pour a thin 10-mm layer of renovation mortar.
Easier color cutting
It is very difficult to. color cut-off on the wall exactly in the upper corner. You can stain the ceiling, previously painted white. It will be easier to cut off the color by 0,1-1 cm below the corner. The difference will be practically invisible. We use a flat brush with a width of approx 10 cm. You can also use a radiator brush, in which you can bend the cap with the bristles, and thus better protect the ceiling from dirt.
Sticking the plate together
When sticking small parts of broken plates etc.. items, it is worth using a vessel filled with sand, loose sand grains perfectly support each glued part over the entire surface. Sklejone, matching parts, firmly supported in the sand, they will not move. Let's remember, that the pieces should be glued in turn – the next one after the glue has set well in the previous joint. You need to use fine for gluing, sifted sand.
After long use of scissors, the rotational connection of both parts is loosened. The play on the blades makes cutting impossible or very difficult. Such scissors are repaired by arching the connecting rivet. This is done with a hammer after placing the scissors on an anvil or steel plate. But let's remember, that too much rivet arching may block the rotation of both parts of the scissors. So let's do it sensitively, always checking the ease of rotation of both cutting parts.
Sticking the ear
Broken dishes are repaired by gluing individual parts into their original shape. Most often we use two-component adhesives for this purpose, which harden over a long period of time. During this time, good pressure of the glued elements should be ensured. In the case of sticking the handle to the jug, the pressure can be provided with two rubber bands fixed on the jug. After gluing, the upper strip must be cut, because it cannot be slid off the vessel body in any other way.
Narrow frames in larger glass pictures may deform when hung on the wall. To eliminate this, they can be strengthened by nailing or sticking a thin metal tape on the bottom connecting the upper and lower stile.. The boost will be invisible, and effective. Instead of metal tape, you can nail or stick a thin hardwood strip. Alternatively, we strengthen it with two strips nailed not in the middle of the longer sides, but symmetrically in relation to the axis.
Main shut-off valve
In hot and cold water installations, as well as central heating, an important role is played by the main valves shutting off the flow of the medium to the internal installation. In the event of a failure, they enable the flow to be cut off from outside. For this reason, their operation should be periodically and carefully checked and, in the event of malfunction, necessary repairs should be made without delay. In this way, we will avoid losses resulting from the consequences of failures and the inability to cut off the medium inflow very quickly and effectively.
Cleaning the aerator
Aerators in all types of water taps are easily contaminated, especially limescale deposits. To remove it, just unscrew the aerator, and then hold through 2-3 hours dipped in vinegar or lemon juice. You can also boil them in water with potato peelings or use one of the specialist preparations available on the market. After soaking, rinse the aerator thoroughly in clean water, so as to remove all solid contamination.
Strengthening the corners
All wall corners in the room should be protected. This applies to both walls finished with traditional plaster, and plasterboard walls. In both cases, a special mesh or perforated angle should be installed at the corner. When plastering or puttying, it will be covered with plaster or gypsum putty. It is attached to the corner by pressing it into the layer of putty or gypsum mortar previously applied evenly.
