Many manufacturers of ready-made garage sections offer a whole set of various beautifying and complementary elements, thanks to which you can harmoniously adapt the shape of the garage to the surroundings. These include not only the different shapes of the roof (np., gable or hipped), but also facades covered with colored plaster, with wood or clinker. Manufacturers also offer a wide selection of garage doors, made of steel, wood or even glass.
Simultaneous home and garage planning
In terms of architecture, the ideal solution is the uniform planning of the house and garage, which is then part of the project, creating a harmonious whole with the main structure. It may look like this, for example, that the garage matches the shape and color of the house. In the case of buildings located on a slope, you can put a garage in the basement. The advantage of this solution is a direct connection to the residential part of the building and the functional use of the room in the basement. It is also practical, because all problems related to adjusting the garage to the development concept are eliminated. Unfortunately, such a solution is possible only in this specific case due to costs. Otherwise, the garage would have to be located on the residential level, taking away some of the valuable space; however, after placing the garage in the basement part, you have to take into account a very steep driveway, which can be troublesome in winter.
